Accessibility Statement

XICTRON is committed to making the website b2b-commerce-agentur.de accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act). This statement applies to all content under b2b-commerce-agentur.de in German and English.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and the EN 301 549 standard. "Partially compliant" means that the requirements are predominantly met, while the individual points listed under "Known limitations" are still outstanding. Last review: 13. August 2026.

Method of preparation

This statement is based on a self-assessment. It draws on an automated test of every page type using axe-core against the WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 Level A and AA rule sets, a measurement of colour contrast taken from the actually rendered pixels rather than from the values in the stylesheet, and manual checks of keyboard operation, focus order and heading hierarchy. An automated test covers only part of the success criteria; no full external audit has taken place.

Known limitations

The following content is currently not accessible, or only accessible to a limited extent:

  • Diagrams and process graphics in specialist articles are marked as decorative and are skipped by screen readers, because the running text carries the same message. For individual graphics among the roughly 600 in total this correspondence may be incomplete, and information is then lost (WCAG 1.1.1). Reason: the graphics were created over a longer period. We are reviewing them article by article and extending the text where it falls short of the graphic. Planned remedy by 31 December 2026.
  • Embedded layout drafts under /demos/: these preview pages illustrate design variants and do not go through the same review process as the website itself. Reason: they are drafts, not production content. The regular pages of the website are available as an accessible alternative for the content shown.
  • External content: on pages linking to third-party offerings we have no influence over their accessibility.

Technical implementation

  • Semantic HTML5 with a consistent heading hierarchy and ARIA landmarks
  • Skip link to the main content as the first focusable element
  • Full keyboard operation, visible focus, focus trapping in dialogues
  • Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text, verified against rendered pixels
  • Motion is switched off when the "reduce motion" system setting is active
  • Text sizes and layout scale up to 200 percent without loss of content
