A B2B shop never stands alone: item master data, prices, stock levels, orders, delivery notes and invoices live in the merchandise management or ERP system. This category collects articles on connecting both worlds — interface types and transport paths, full and delta synchronisation, error handling and retry logic, product data quality, classifications and media. It is equally about the processes behind them: who maintains which data as the leading source, how orders are reported back, what happens with partial deliveries or returns. We describe approaches that small teams can operate too, and state openly where effort arises — so that projects do not fail on data maintenance rather than on technology.
